Historical restoration projects not only safeguard the integrity and appearance of a building’s historical elements but also its community. It’s an honor bestowed to us at Kee-Chanona to restore culturally-significant sites in our home base of Trinidad & Tobago, including the first of the Queen’s Park Savannah’s Magnificent Seven to be restored, the Queen’s Royal College. Restoring the 1904 structure to its former grandeur demanded more than structural integrity reinforcements, but a keen attention to detail, craftsmanship, and preservation of its custom intricacies. Other restoration projects in Trinidad and Tobago include:
- The Roof of Red House
- Old Police Headquarters
- Rosary Church Port of Spain
Meticulous in nature to preserve the accuracy and authenticity of dated buildings and sites, restoration also allows us to reduce waste, conserve resources, and even lower the carbon footprint of a building.
